Avocado Puree

Avocado is a great first food for babies — it’s full of healthy fats and has a naturally creamy texture that little ones love. No cooking required, so it’s the perfect addition to quick meals on the go.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado

Method

  1. Cut in half and remove pip.

  2. Spoon flesh out into a bowl.

  3. Mash with a fork or blend in a food processor until smooth, add a little water if needed.

  4. Use within 2–3 days.

Serving Suggestion

Serve on a preloaded spoon, or spread on soft toast fingers for older babies.
