Risoni And Veges

This risoni and veges is a wonderful textured meal for babies who are ready to move on from purees. The tiny pasta shapes are perfect for little mouths, and the veges add plenty of nutrition and colour.

Ingredients

  • 1 capsicum, finely chopped

  • 1 courgette, finely chopped

  • 400g tinned corn, drained and rinsed

  • 1 tin tomatoes

  • 4 Tbsp risoni

Method

  1. Cook capsicum in a frying pan for 3 minutes, add courgette and corn. Cook stirring for two minutes.

  2. Add tinned tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Blend into mashed consistency.

  4. Meanwhile cook risoni in a pot of boiling water until tender, drain. Toss risoni and veges together.
