Vege Loaded Pulse Pasta

This pasta is a wonderful way to pack heaps of veges into your baby’s meal. The pulse pasta adds extra protein and iron. A great one for batch cooking.

Ingredients

  • Around 3 handfuls finely chopped veges e.g. mushroom, broccoli, carrot, onion

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp mixed herbs

  • 1 tin tomatoes

  • ½ cup pulse pasta

Method

  1. Finely chop vegetables.

  2. Fry in olive oil with garlic and herbs until very soft.

  3. Add a tin of tomatoes, keep cooking until mixture is thick.

  4. Stir through some cooked pulse pasta.

Serving Suggestion

Serve as is for self-feeding — the soft pasta shapes are easy for babies to pick up.
