Vege Loaded Pulse Pasta
This pasta is a wonderful way to pack heaps of veges into your baby’s meal. The pulse pasta adds extra protein and iron. A great one for batch cooking.
Ingredients
Around 3 handfuls finely chopped veges e.g. mushroom, broccoli, carrot, onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp mixed herbs
1 tin tomatoes
½ cup pulse pasta
Method
Finely chop vegetables.
Fry in olive oil with garlic and herbs until very soft.
Add a tin of tomatoes, keep cooking until mixture is thick.
Stir through some cooked pulse pasta.
Serving Suggestion
Serve as is for self-feeding — the soft pasta shapes are easy for babies to pick up.
