Winter Vege Soup
Instructions
- 
Sauté onion and garlic in a pan with olive oil until clear. 
- 
Put onions with all other ingredients in the slow cooker, stir well. 
- 
Cook on low for 8 hours or until veges are tender. 
Serves 6-8

1 onion, diced

2 tsp minced garlic

1 tbsp olive oil

2 carrots, diced 
- 
250g beans, chopped 
- 
2 kumara, diced 
- 
2 tomatoes, diced 
- 
1 can kidney beans 
- 
1 can chickpeas 
- 
1 tbsp soy sauce 
- 
2 tsp paprika 
- 
2 tsp basil 
- 
1 tsp turmeric 
- 
1 tsp cayenne pepper 
- 
Salt and pepper 
- 
6 cups vege stock
