Bircher muesli / Overnight oats
Instructions
- 
Mix together oats, chia seeds and milk in a bowl and leave in the fridge overnight. 
- 
In the morning stir through the fruit and nuts, and add your choice of toppings. 
Serves 1. Can be eaten hot or cold.
Ingredients
- 
1/3 cup oats 
- 
2 tsp chia seeds 
- 
1/2 cup milk 
- 
1 Tbsp chopped nuts 
- 
1 serving of fruit eg. 1 sliced banana, 1 grated pear or apple, 1/2 cup frozen berries, 2 sliced feijoas, plums or kiwifruit. 
Topping ideas: 1/3 cup yoghurt, 1/2 Tbsp seeds (eg. pumpkin, sunflower, linseeds), 1/2 tsp cinnamon, drizzle of honey or maple syrup, 1 Tbsp dried fruit, 1/2 Tbsp dried coconut, 1 Tbsp nut butter.
