Chicken Puree

Chicken is a wonderful source of protein, iron, zinc and vitamin B12 for your baby. This simple roasted chicken puree blends up smooth and freezes well, so you can have it on hand to mix with vege purees for a balanced meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast

Method

  1. Chop 1 chicken breast into strips. Place on a lined oven tray.

  2. Roast in the oven at 180°C until cooked through, around 10–15 minutes.

  3. Blend with a little water into a smooth consistency.

  4. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.
