Asparagus Puree

Asparagus is a fantastic green vege to introduce to your baby early on. It’s a great source of folate and blends into a smooth puree that’s perfect for little ones just starting solids. Batch cook and freeze for easy mealtimes.

Ingredients

  • 4–5 asparagus

Method

  1. Chop 4–5 asparagus into thirds.

  2. Steam in a pot of water or in a baby food steamer until tender, around 10–12 minutes.

  3. Drain the water and blend until smooth.

  4. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.
