Liver Puree

Liver is one of the most nutrient-dense foods you can offer your baby — it’s an incredible source of iron and vitamin A. A little goes a long way, so freeze in teaspoon-sized portions and mix with vege or meat purees.

Ingredients

  • 100–200g liver

Method

  1. Boil around 100–200g liver in a pot of water until cooked through, around 10 minutes.

  2. Blend with a little water into a smooth consistency.

  3. Spoon teaspoon portions into ice trays and freeze.
