Brussel Sprouts Puree

Introducing brussel sprouts early is a great way to get your baby used to bolder flavours. This simple puree provides vitamin C, vitamin K, folate and fibre. It freezes well, making it easy to have on hand for mealtimes.

Ingredients

  • 4–5 brussel sprouts

Method

  1. Chop 4–5 brussel sprouts in half.

  2. Steam in a pot of water or in a baby food steamer until tender, around 10–12 minutes.

  3. Drain the water and blend until smooth.

  4. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.
