Capsicum Puree

Capsicum has a naturally sweet flavour that many babies enjoy. It’s a great source of vitamin C and A. This bright and colourful puree is a lovely way to add variety to your baby’s diet and introduce them to new flavours early on.

Ingredients

  • 1–2 capsicums

Method

  1. Chop 1–2 capsicums into quarters.

  2. Steam in a pot of water or in a baby food steamer until tender, around 10–12 minutes.

  3. Drain the water and blend until smooth.

  4. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.
