Chickpea Curry Puree
This mild chickpea curry is a wonderful way to introduce your baby to gentle spice flavours. It’s packed with iron and protein from the chickpeas, and the veges add plenty of vitamin C and A. A great one to batch cook and freeze.
Ingredients
1 cup chickpeas
1 capsicum, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 tsp cumin
Method
Add all ingredients to a steamer and cook for 12 minutes.
Blend until smooth.
Spoon into ice trays and freeze.
Optional: add in ½ an avocado when blending.
