Chickpea Curry Puree

This mild chickpea curry is a wonderful way to introduce your baby to gentle spice flavours. It’s packed with iron and protein from the chickpeas, and the veges add plenty of vitamin C and A. A great one to batch cook and freeze.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpeas

  • 1 capsicum, chopped

  • 1 carrot, chopped

  • 1 tsp cumin

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a steamer and cook for 12 minutes.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.

  4. Optional: add in ½ an avocado when blending.
