Carrot Puree

Carrot is a classic first food for babies thanks to its naturally sweet flavour. This simple puree is easy to make and freezes beautifully, so you can always have some on hand for mealtimes. Carrot is a great source of vitamin A.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 carrots

Method

  1. Chop 1-2 carrots into rounds.

  2. Steam in a pot of water or in a baby food steamer until tender, around 15 minutes.

  3. Drain the water and blend until smooth.

  4. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.
