Cottage Pie

This puree cottage pie is a wonderful way to introduce your baby to the classic comfort flavours of a cottage pie. Packed with iron-rich beef and naturally sweet kumara and carrot, it blends up beautifully into a smooth puree that’s perfect for early eaters.

Ingredients

  • 150g rump steak, diced

  • ½ small kumara, diced

  • 1 large carrot, chopped

  • 1 ½ cups water

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a pot and boil until veges soften and beef is cooked through (about 20 minutes).

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.
