Cheesy Meatballs
These cheesy meatballs are a brilliant iron-rich finger food for your baby. They’re packed with hidden veges and cheese, and they’re soft enough for little gums. Make a big batch and freeze for easy mealtimes.
Ingredients
½ cup carrots, roughly chopped
1 small onion, peeled and halved
½ tsp dried parsley
½ cup breadcrumbs
500g mince
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
½ cup grated cheese
Method
Preheat oven to 190°C.
Blitz carrot and onion in a food processor, then add the rest of the ingredients and process until smooth.
Roll golf ball sized meatballs and put on an oven tray. Cook for 20–25 minutes or until cooked through.
