Salmon Puree

Tinned salmon is a brilliant shortcut for baby food — it’s packed with omega-3 and protein, and requires no cooking at all. Just make sure you choose a no added salt variety to keep it baby-friendly.

Ingredients

  • 1 tin salmon, no added salt

Method

  1. Pour tinned salmon into a bowl.

  2. Mash with the back of a fork or blend in a food processor until smooth.

  3. Use within 2–3 days.

Serving Suggestion

Serve on a preloaded spoon, or mix with avocado or kumara puree for extra creaminess.
