Pear Puree

Pear is a nice gentle first fruit for babies. It’s easy to digest and has a lovely mild sweetness that little ones enjoy. This puree freezes well so you can batch cook for future use.

Ingredients

  • 2 pears

Method

  1. Peel, decore and chop 2 pears into small pieces.

  2. Simmer in a pot of water until soft, around 15–20 minutes.

  3. Drain water and blend in a food processor until smooth.

  4. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.
