Spinach Puree

Spinach is a brilliant source of iron for your baby as well as folate, vitamin K and A. This is a great one to have in the freezer and mixes well with other purees for added nutrition.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen spinach balls

Method

  1. Microwave around 1 cup of frozen spinach balls until defrosted, around 3–4 minutes.

  2. Drain excess water and blend until smooth.

  3. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.

Serving Suggestion

Serve on a preloaded spoon, or stir through kumara or pumpkin puree for a milder taste.
