Tofu And Veges Puree

This tofu and veges puree is a lovely plant-based meal for your baby. Tofu is a great source of protein and an important allergen (soy) to introduce early. The coriander adds a subtle flavour that helps develop your baby’s palate.

Ingredients

  • 300g tofu, pan fried with olive oil

  • 1 large courgette (or ½ broccoli), steamed

  • 1 cup kumara or pumpkin, steamed

  • 1 tsp ground coriander

Method

  1. Pan fry strips of tofu in olive oil for 2–3 minutes either side.

  2. Steam veges.

  3. Blend tofu, veges and coriander until smooth.

  4. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.
