Chicken Sausages
These homemade chicken sausages are a brilliant finger food packed with iron and hidden veges. The sausage shape is easy for little hands to grip, and the LSA adds extra nutrition. Bake a batch and freeze for easy mealtimes.
Ingredients
1 large carrot, grated
500g chicken mince
1 cup LSA
2 eggs
½ broccoli, grated
2 tsp dried parsley
Method
Mix carrot, chicken mince, LSA, eggs, broccoli, and parsley in a bowl.
Take golf ball-sized amounts and roll into sausages.
Line an oven tray with baking paper and cook in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15–20 minutes or until cooked through.
Serving Suggestion
Serve as a whole sausage for your baby to hold and gnaw on — the shape is perfect for self-feeding.
