Chicken Sausages

These homemade chicken sausages are a brilliant finger food packed with iron and hidden veges. The sausage shape is easy for little hands to grip, and the LSA adds extra nutrition. Bake a batch and freeze for easy mealtimes.

Ingredients

  • 1 large carrot, grated

  • 500g chicken mince

  • 1 cup LSA

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ broccoli, grated

  • 2 tsp dried parsley

Method

  1. Mix carrot, chicken mince, LSA, eggs, broccoli, and parsley in a bowl.

  2. Take golf ball-sized amounts and roll into sausages.

  3. Line an oven tray with baking paper and cook in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15–20 minutes or until cooked through.

Serving Suggestion

Serve as a whole sausage for your baby to hold and gnaw on — the shape is perfect for self-feeding.
