Kumara Puree

Kumara is a great source of vitamin A, C and fibre. Its natural sweetness makes it a real favourite with little ones, and it blends into the smoothest puree. Batch cook and freeze so you’ve always got some ready to go.

Ingredients

  • 1 small kumara

Method

  1. Chop 1 small kumara into cubes.

  2. Steam in a pot of water or in a baby food steamer until tender, around 15 minutes.

  3. Drain the water and blend until smooth.

  4. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.
