Lentil And Veges Puree

This lentil and vege puree is a nutritious and filling meal for your baby. Lentils are a great source of iron and protein, and the pumpkin adds natural sweetness. The gentle spices help develop your baby’s palate.

Ingredients

  • 1 can lentils, drained and rinsed

  • 1 cup frozen beans

  • 1 cup pumpkin, chopped

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp coriander

Method

  1. Put all ingredients in a steamer for 10–15 minutes, then blend until smooth.

  2. Spoon into ice trays and freeze.

Serving Suggestion

Serve on a preloaded spoon — this thick, hearty puree is great for hungry little ones.
